The BB-170 trimming tool makes quick work of removing extra material around the butt joint of round and V profile belts. Once belting is heated with a heat wand and pressed together with a clamp tool, it is inevitable that a bulge of belting material will form around the joined area. These clippers are specifically designed to remove this extra burr (flash) material, ensuring a consistent surface around the whole circumference of the belt.
