The CD-60 is a cooling tong designed for use with Quickmelt and Flexproof belt joining systems, including Flexproof joints with finger lengths up to 80 mm. It provides controlled cooling and pressure after the belt has been joined in a hot press.

After heating, the belt remains secured in the guide rail and is transferred to the CD-60. The spring-loaded cooling tong holds the joint under pressure while its cooling fins help dissipate heat, allowing the belt joint to cool evenly before being removed from the guide rail.
