This 3/8" threaded blade backup rod or knife adjusting screw is used to add support to the top edge of the blade on many models of Challenge Paper Cutters. Without this backup screw the blade will slowly slide on its bolts. It measures 5 1/4" long and has 5/16" wrench flats cut in the top end. (equivalent to Challenge part number 4449, 8814, S-68-3, S-68-5).
