Scrapers are an essential part of many conveyers, particularly in the food industry. Different substances can stick to conveying belts and other machine parts which cause hygienic and efficiency issues. While scrapers must be efficient, they must also avoid scratching or damaging the belt surface. We have a variety of scrapers that are designed to avoid damaging different belt materials while effectively removing material accumulation.
Features:
- Materials promote both longer belt and scraper life
- Made from FDA-approved compounds for increased safety
- X-Ray and Metal detectable versions available for additional food safety
- Suitable for many different belt types and conveyor frames
Possible Scraper Positions:
Primary ScraperWhen the material transported is made of coarse, sticky, or wet particles, the primary scraper is placed against the drive pulley immediately after the discharge flow.
Secondary ScraperA secondary can be used along with a primary if more thorough cleaning is required. It can also be used alone if the transported material is dry and fine.
