This square headed knife bolt is fitted with an integral washer. The washer rotates on the bolt but is not removable. A screwdriver slot is provided in the threaded end to aid in removal if the head gets rounded over from a worn wrench or socket. (This is the same bolt as our B42 bolt, EXCEPT that it has a different thread pitch. The B41 has 1/2-12 threads, the B42 has 1/2-13 threads.)
