The CD-61 is a cooling tong designed for use with Flexproof belt joining systems using finger lengths up to 120 mm. It provides controlled cooling and pressure after the belt has been joined in a hot press.

After heating, the belt remains secured in the guide rail and is transferred to the CD-61. The spring-loaded cooling tong holds the joint under pressure while its cooling fins help dissipate heat, allowing the belt joint to cool evenly before being removed from the guide rail.
