Steel - Standard steel drill bits will cover a majority of basic drilling jobs.
CHT - Teflon coated to prevent build-up and increase the life of the bit by reducing heat. Works great for coated stocks.
Marvel - Drill bits with titanium coating for increased durability. Best for hard materials (i.e. plastics, card stock).
Fluted - Flutes line the inside of the bit for breaking up paper chips. Best for chip board, card stock or clogging issues.
